Nomad

The title is the accusation. These people were sedentary; nomadism was done to them, and the film sets that against the country that did it. Everything rests on refusing to comment — nothing is stated, nothing underlined, and the closing image can be read as an arrival or as a containment. What the work demanded was one people held continuous across two centuries of changing background, without a single shot pleading its case.
